: KEYWORDS The Problem Of PAI’S Teachers In Teaching Students During Covid-19 Pandemic Teaching and learning is a process of changing knowledge and values in which there is a relationship between educators and students. In this connection educators and students have different positions and feelings. However, both have the same power, namely influencing each other for the implementation of the educational process (transformation of knowledge, values, and skills aimed at the desired goal). Problems often occur when learning takes place, not only from teachers but also factors from students. And in this study, the author focuses on the formulation of the problem on the following problems: 1) What are the problems with PAI teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic at Kapopo Elementary School? 2) What are the efforts to overcome the problems of PAI teachers at Kapopo Elementary School, Ngatabaru Village?.
The purpose of this study was to find out how the
problems

. As for
the
results of the research that the author got, there were several problems with PAI teachers in teaching students during the COVID-19 pandemic at Kapopo elementary schools, constrained by insufficient time in delivering learning materials and making it difficult for students to understand learning easily and practice it well. And as for the efforts made by PAI teachers in overcoming some of the existing problems, PAI teachers must take sufficient time so that students can understand the material to the maximum, then the teacher must also be able to provide some adequate facilities for students to help them understand the material. learning if the time given is not enough, and always provides good guidance so that students feel guided and it is easy for students to understand all forms of material given by the teacher while at school. 1 Muhammad Imawan is a Student

. 1. Introduction Education is a lifelong process as a manifestation of self formation as a whole. It means the development of all potentials in the context of determining all human commitments as individuals, as well as social beings and creatures of God.
In general, Islamic Religious Education is a subject developed from the basic teachings contained in Islam
. These teachings are found in the Qur'an and al-Hadith. Islamic religious education is an effort to develop all human individual and social potential based on Islamic teachings. Education is a conscious effort made by one person to another to develop all his potential, so that it grows and develops towards the formation of a Muslim personality.Religious Education subjects of Islamic teachings.
But the
most
important thing is how
students
can practice
these
teachings in everyday life
. (Rudi Ahmad Suryadi, 2018) Teachers are educators who have an important role in educating and shaping the character of students. Teachers are often referred to as community leaders (Social Leaders) and social workers (Social Worker), especially in the community community. In rural communities, for example, teachers are often placed in the status of a source of knowledge when information media is still very limited. The teacher often occupies a position as an exemplary figure by the community, he is the only source of information and source of knowledge. Therefore, the teacher is seen as a figure who must be nurtured and imitated. In a community like this, a proverb and a proverb are born that the teacher pees standing up, the student pees running, because what a teacher does will be an example for the people around him. (Suparlan, 2015) Islamic religious education teachers play an important role in a school or educational institution. An Islamic Religious Education teacher must be able to be an example in the formation of the character and personality of his students. In addition, in interacting with the community, teachers are also considered as versatile people. Through Islamic Religious Education, teachers are able to instill social values that live and are maintained in social life. (Riyan Nurayadin, 2015) Broadly speaking, Islamic religious education is nurturing, guiding, encouraging, endeavoring, developing pious people. However, in the current Covid-19 pandemic, Islamic religious education teachers certainly have some problems in teaching their students because of the limited time to meet face to face and teach their students directly at the Kapopo Elementary School which results in students not being able to receive Islamic religious education lessons to the fullest and Even teachers cannot teach their students to the fullest. 2. Literature Review In every life there will always be problems, not least in the process of Islamic religious education. Every obstacle that exists, must have its own solution. If you can find a solution, it will make learning easier and can produce maximum results.
The term problematic comes from English, namely problematic which means problem or problem
. Where as
in Indonesian, problem means something that cannot be solved
. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary, Problematics has the meaning of still causing problems, but problems cannot be solved. Based on some of the definitions above, what is meant by problematic in this research is a problem that requires solving the problem or a way out. According to Abdul Majid explained that there are two problems faced, namely: 1. The problems faced by teachers who come from students are: a. Low level of intelligence. b. Poor vision and hearing. c. Health is often compromised. d. Perceptual disorders. e. Not mastering the ways of learning well. 2. a. b. The problems faced by students come from the school/teacher environment. The curriculum is not appropriate. The teacher does not master the subject matter. 269 Problems of Islamic Religious Education Teachers In Teaching Students In The Covid-19 c. The teaching method is not suitable. d. Inadequate learning tools and media. Religious teachers have a very large and heavy responsibility, therefore a religious teacher must have a good personality in the eyes of his students and society. The teacher is the person who is responsible
for the development of
students by seeking
all the potential of
their
students, both affective potential, cognitive potential, and psychomotor potential
. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the teacher must have a very important and good personality in the eyes of the community in the development of their students in order to seek the development of the potential that exists in their students. So it can be concluded, the responsibility of a religious teacher is not only at school or when teaching, but the responsibility of a religious teacher includes family, school and community responsibilities. A teacher, especially a religious
teacher, must be responsible for all attitudes, behavior and actions in order to foster the soul and character of students
. In order to become a person of good moral character, useful for religion, homeland and nation in the future. And as a teacher in educating students to be like what is expected above, as a teacher must have good qualities too and the characteristics of the teacher referred to according to Islam in the Al-Quran are as follows: a. Be pious. b. Knowledgeable because it is a source of knowledge transfer to his students. c. Gentle nature. d. Have a sense of responsibility. e. Trustworthy (trustworthy). f. Be honest in both words and behavior. g. Affectionate. h. Stay away from mental illnesses such as riya, hasad and ujub. i. Always learning (adding knowledge). j. Wara is to stay away from doubtful things. k. Objective or fair. l. Proactive, intelligent, empathetic and thoughtful. And also teachers as educators have an important task and the task of teachers in Islam is to educate by teaching, giving examples and getting used to good things and in other ways towards achieving maximum development in accordance with Islamic values. A teacher does not only serve as a giver and transfer of knowledge to students but he is also responsible for the management, direction, facilities and planning, besides that, a religious teacher as an educator in instilling various aspects, be it cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. 3. Methodology In this paper, the type of research used by the author is qualitative research. The approach in this study is to describe a process of educational activities based on what happens in the field as material for further study to find educational shortcomings and weaknesses so that efforts can be determined to improve it. Analyze and interpret an educational fact, symptom, and event that occurs in the field as it is in the context of time and space and the situation of the educational environment naturally. This study is located at the Kapopo Elemantary School, Sigi Biromaru, Central Sulawesi Province.
Primary and secondary data sources. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation
. The
data
is analyzed using inductive, deductive, and comparative analysis methods. 4. Results and Discussion 4.1 The problems of PAI teachers in teaching students during the Covid-19 pandemic at Kapopo elementary school, Ngatabaru village. As for some of the problems of PAI teachers in teaching students during the Covid-19 pandemic at Kapopo elementary school, Ngatabaru village, as follows, the authors explain some of the points below: 1) Time Factor As explained by Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, S.Pd.I in an interview : "Yes, the problem is that the learning time is very short, especially now during the pandemic, so the time for children to receive learning materials is also very limited. For now, children go to school only to receive assignments and then return to their respective homes. ” (Mrs. Hesti Hestiati 2020) As explained by a teacher above, time is the main cause in the current learning period related to what Mrs. Nuripa, A.Ma explained: "The problem is, for example, if there is learning material that requires childrenpractice and so on. toeach of which causes the children not to do well in practice due to a lack of guidance.” (Mrs. Nuripa, 2020) During this covid-19 pandemic, the school time for students at Kapopo Elementary School, Ngatabaru village is very limited and very minimal so that maximizing learning time is also very difficult because students enter school not all classes at the same time but per day for one class and only to share the questions and then students can return to their respective homes so that students receive teaching materials is very difficult as well as to apply what students have received in class. From the teacher's explanation above, it can be concluded that the maximum time is needed at this time so that teachers can provide learning material to the maximum so that students can also receive learning material to the maximum which makes students able to understand and practice what the teacher has taught in school with good and right because if the time to provide learning material is very short and few then what happens is that the learning material is not delivered optimally and is less acceptable to students as well as students if they receive learning material in a short time then students cannot accept it well to understand and practice it students are not good and right in their daily lives. 2) It is difficult to understand the material As the author conducted an interview with one of the teachers, namely Mrs. Kartin, S.Pd.I, she said: "Because the study time at school is very short, students' understanding of learning materials is not optimal, especially during a pandemic like this where students should be able to better understand PAI learning materials, especially such as examples for worship during a pandemic like this and also students' understanding in responding to situations such as the current pandemic with PAI learning materials" (Mrs. Kartin, 2020) To respond to students' understanding of understanding PAI learning materials During the current pandemic, the author interviewed a teacher, Mr. Ardin Yusuf, A.Ma. He said: "Yes, for students' understanding of PAI learning materials, for now it is quite slow because this is also part of the time factor for students to be able to accept and digest and understand materials given in class due to limited time for students to receive learning materials at school during the current pandemic” (Mr. Ardin Yusuf, 2020) Currently students at the Kapopo elementary school in Ngatabaru village carry out the offline learning process, but unlike the learning process, students usually come to school just to take assignments After school, these tasks are carried out in their respective homes, which causes students to understand the learning material not optimally because they are only given assignments not to be understood and practiced. Therefore, the process of understanding learning materials and working on student assignments is supervised directly by the parents of students, because it is not possible to be supervised by the teacher of these students, because the amount of time is very short and small. From all the explanations above, it can be concluded that it is true that for now students are still difficult to understand the learning material that has been given, especially now students go to school just to receive assignments and then return to their respective homes to do these assignments and then collect them again the following week. , so that students do not have much time to be able to understand the learning materials provided to the maximum, so that is the reason why students' understanding is a bit slow in understanding the PAI learning materials given at school, especially during a 271 Problems of Islamic Religious Education Teachers In Teaching Students In The Covid-19 pandemic like this, students need a good understanding and a lot of time. to be able to practice the learning materials that have been given besides why PAI teachers need a lot or enough time to convey and understand learning materials to be understood optimally so that practicing them is also easy for students. 3) Inadequate Facilities In order to achieve all forms of learning during the current pandemic, of course, teachers and students really need some adequate facilities to achieve the desired learning objectives, especially at a time like this where students at SDN Kapopo Ngatabaru Village can only carry out teaching and learning activities offline but constrained by a very short time so that it makes students slow in understanding the learning material provided, therefore adequate facilities are needed to help. As stated by Ms. Salbiah, S.Pd.I in an interview conducted by the author, she said: "schools should be able to provide adequate facilities to their students if they want to achieve the desired learning objectives because as we know students cannot receive the material. Therefore, to help with all of this, very adequate facilities are needed for this.” (Mrs. Salbiah, 2020) In line with the above response, Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, S.Pd. also gave his opinion in an interview with the author where he said: "yes, of course one way for students to understand learning well is by providing them with adequate facilities to support the development of students' understanding of the material being taught" (Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, 2020) From all the explanations above, it can be concluded that where the facilities are adequate and appropriate for students, students can be helped to understand or learn what they want to know so that students can practice the learning materials given or assigned, as well as adequate and proper facilities. can also help student performance in achieving everything that is desired to be achieved optimally. 4) Less Maximum Guidance From Teachers Of course in the teaching and learning process not only makes students more aware of the materials being taught but also needs good guidance so that the learning process students not only understand but also students are able to work on and practice the materials that have been taught. taught so that students are able to make a good impact on those around them. Therefore, Mr. Ardin Yusuf A. Ma expressed his opinion on this matter, namely he said: "With the limited time available to guide students well, the teacher also feels that students also need good guidance so that students can learn all the material and assignments. what is given can be done well in order to achieve the desired learning objectives. (Mr. Aedin Yusuf, 2020) It's the same with what Nuripa's mother said. S.Pd he said: "The lack of good guidance will result in students being difficult to control in the learning process so far because of the lack of guidance, student learning outcomes are decreasing" (Mrs. Nuripa, 2020) So it can be concluded that good guidance will help teachers easily control how the development of students who have been taught during this pandemic period and if teachers do not provide good guidance it will be difficult to control the students' learning process. And the lack of guidance will result in students being indifferent to all forms of the current teaching and learning process. 5) Less Effectiveness of Teaching In this case, the teaching and learning process carried out by Kapopo Elemantary School at Ngatabaru Village Offline during this pandemic resulted in the effectiveness of student learning and the effectiveness of teaching teachers to be reduced. teachers and ways to receive students are no longer effective because they are in a hurry for other things. Mrs. Kartin, S.Pd.I said in an interview that she said: "What causes the current learning process to be less effective is that it is constrained by a very limited time, which results in students not being able to understand the material given optimally as well as the material being delivered so it is not effective. ." (Mrs. Kartin, 2020) As stated by Mrs. Salbiah, S.Pd.I in an interview conducted by the author, she said: "Everything will not be effective if a learning process is not carried out properly, as now all forms of teaching and learning processes that occur become less effective due to the current pandemic which causes everything to be done in a limited way” (Mrs. Salbiah, 2020) So the conclusion that can be drawn is that if you want a job to take place effectively, sufficient time is needed to provide maximum understanding to students and students as well. can receive the material provided can be received to the maximum as well so that the desired learning objectives are achieved properly. 4.2 How to Overcome PAI Teacher Problems During the Covid-19 Pandemic In Kapopo Elementary School
Based on the results of interviews conducted
by
the
author about how
the
problems of PAI teachers in teaching their students during the Covid-19 pandemic at Kapopo Elementary School, there are several efforts to overcome these problems which the author will discuss explain the following: 1) Sufficient time So, with sufficient time for PAI teachers is a very important effort because with sufficient time PAI teachers can provide and understand students about PAI learning materials to the maximum and also well and students who receive the material also able to understand and accept all the material taught to the maximum and well, and with sufficient time the teacher also has the opportunity to practice well for the material that has been taught to students so that students know very well how to practice it optimally. As stated by Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, S.Pd.I in the interview as follows: "Shouldn't have material like this really needed quite a lot of time because this PAI material is for the provision of students in the future how they will understand and practice it later. it takes quite a lot of time to reach the maximum of the teacher in understanding how students can understand it well, if the time is not enough then the teacher will not be maximal in delivering the material as well as the students receiving the material." (Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, 2020) Similar to what was said by Mrs. Nuripa, A.Ma about the problem of timing, she said, namely: "With enough time, we can be sure that from the many students who receive the material, almost all of them can understand the PAI material that has been given. if the time is not enough, students just receive the material without understanding what needs to be done and understood from the material. (Mrs. Nuripa, 2020) From some of the statements above, time is the most important factor for teachers to be able to understand students to the maximum as well as for students with sufficient time students can receive and understand learning materials well so that with enough time students are not just understand but also be able to practice the learning material to the fullest. And also another solution that is done by the teacher is to optimize the available time. The solution carried out by the Islamic religious education teacher is not enough, because there are enough Islamic religious education materials so that the teacher is too hasty in delivering the material to be able to carry out the limits (demands) of the curriculum that has been set even though the students are not yet mature (mastering the subject matter). forced to move on to the next subject. In addition, students are given additional tasks to enrich their knowledge of the material being taught, so there is sufficient time for PAI teachers to optimize all their learning. 2) Adequate facilities If in conducting a lesson the time given is deemed insufficient, the school must be able to facilitate its students with adequate facilities so that students can understand the learning material well when students are not at school, especially during a pandemic like this, it is time for teachers and students to Giving and receiving learning materials is not enough, so the effort that must be carried out is to provide students with adequate facilities. As said by Mrs. Kartin, S.Pd.I in an interview she said: "If the time is not enough for students to understand the material given, then the effort that needs to be done is to provide students with adequate learning facilities so that they can understand the material better. given" (Mrs. Kartin, 2020) 273 Problems of Islamic Religious Education Teachers In Teaching Students In The Covid-19 Likewise, Mr. Ardin Yusuf, A.Ma said in an interview as follows: "of course adequate facilities are also an effort to reduce the lack of students who do not understand the material well, with these facilities students can understand the material little by little” (Mr. Ardin Yusuf, 2020) From the explanations of some of the teachers above, one of the efforts that schools must do is to provide adequate facilities for students so that they can understand the material that has been given well in their respective homes. with the help of parents in understanding what they do not understand to the fullest about the material being taught. 3) Good guidance In this case the efforts that need to be made by the teacher in understanding students are to provide good guidance so that students can do everything that is taught well even though they only give assignments because students also need guidance so that they can easily do all the tasks assigned to them. optimally given. As stated by Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, S.Pd.I, she said: "We as teachers also have to know very well how we treat our students, especially during a pandemic like this we must know very well what students need to achieve good learning outcomes. maximum during the current pandemic, which is to provide good guidance to students so that they can be helped in understanding the material that has been taught at school” (Mrs. Hesti Hestiati, 2020) Similarly, Mrs. Kartin, S.Pd.I said in an interview conducted by the author. she said: "With good guidance given by teachers to their students I think it can help students understand and understand the material being taught and what they need to do with the material, therefore teachers must maximize their time in guiding their students" (Mrs. Kartin , 2020) It can be seen from the results of the interview above that the efforts that teachers need to make during the pandemic like this where the time to teach students is not so optimal and students' understanding is slowing down, good guidance is also needed from every teacher who teaches their students well so that students can also accept and understand all forms of material given to the maximum, both understanding material and practical material. Because if there is no good guidance, how can students understand the material given by the teacher, especially during a pandemic like now, therefore all forms of good guidance are needed for the progress of students' understanding in understanding the material being taught. 4) Providing Good Understanding As is known at this time the time to carry out the teaching and learning process is very limited so that it allows students not to understand the learning material well but apart from that the teacher must have a way so that students can accept and understand the learning given well maximally. As stated by Mr. Ardin Yusuf. A.Ma in the interview he said: "Although forced if the time given is deemed insufficient, the teacher must find other alternative ways of delivering the material to be given so that students are able to understand the material given thoroughly" (Mr. Ardin Yusuf, 2020) So also expressed by Mrs. Kartin, S.Pd.I where she said that: "If you want students to be able to understand the learning material given, the teacher must also understand the material that will be delivered slowly so that students easily understand and accept the related material that has been given. but if the teacher does not master it, the students will also find it difficult to understand these materials” (Mrs. Kartin, 2020) So the conclusion from the above discussion is that teachers must be required to be able or have their own way to be able to understand students in a short time in order to achieve learning objectives what they want and also students can understand the material given and teachers are also required to understand the content of the material to be given so that when they want to understand students, students can digest and understand the material well. 5) Streamlining the Learning Process One of the efforts that must be made by a teacher to provide a good understanding of students is by re-effective the teaching and learning process so that students can receive and understand the material provided even in a short time so that the learning process can achieve the desired goals. wanted all along. As said by Mrs. Nuripa, S.Pd. about the effectiveness of the learning process that has occurred so far, namely: "To make a learning process good, a good effectiveness is needed in carrying out the learning process so that students can receive the material to the maximum as long as the process is effective and also good even in a very short time condition. ” (Mrs. Nuripa, 2020) Similar to what was stated by Ms. Salbiah, S.Pd.I about this, she said: "Inevitably to make students good in accepting learning, teachers are required to be able to restore the effectiveness of the learning process in any way so that students also be able to understand the learning material thoroughly even in the current pandemic period” (Mrs. Salbiah, 2020) So the conclusion that can be drawn is that teachers are very much required to be able to restore the effectiveness of the learning process that has taken place so far, which during this time the learning process is constrained by time. which is so short that a causes students to find it difficult to understand the material provided if the method is not so effective, that is why the teacher must be able to re-effectively reactivate the learning process that takes place even though the time is relatively so short in order to achieve the desired results. 5. Conclusion Based on the results of research on the problems of Islamic religious education teachers in teaching students during the covid-19 pandemic at Kapopo elementary school, Ngatabaru village, the author can conclude. 1. The problems faced by PAI teachers in teaching students during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Kapopo elementary school, Ngatabaru village, were the lack of time in delivering the material and there were still students who could not understand the learning material well. 2. The way to overcome the problems of PAI teachers in teaching students during the covid-19 pandemic at Kapopo elementary school, Ngatabaru village is by having sufficient time to understand students, then providing students with adequate facilities to help them understand the material if time is not available. enough, and provide the best guidance so that students are able to understand the material gradually.
