Permasalahan dan Tantangan Pendidikan Islam Modern di Tengah Era Digitalisasi

Education plays an important role in the survival of human beings. However, at this time
digitalization is spreading and developing widely, having a positive impact that should be
put to good use. Digital which is supposed to be a new facility or infrastructure for students
and teachers in the continuity of learning in the midst of this digitalization. Adjustment is
not easy, there are problems and challenges faced in learning in this digital medium so this
research needs to be carried out in exploring and investigating the problems and
challenges faced by Islamic religious education in the midst of digitalization in following
the latest advances in digital education. This study uses qualitative methods, literature
research as the current research design. The results of this study explain the biggest
problem of modern Islamic education is the lack of literacy technology for teachers or
students in the midst of digital learning. While the challenges that arise are in the field of
technology, the field of science, educational assessment, the field of material delivery, and
the geographical field. In fact, the contribution of Islamic education itself is an educational
goal that creates primarily good human character.
