Abstract

The result of this research indicated that the use of Animation Film is not effective in Increasing students' vocabulary mastery. The results of the data analysis show that the average score of experimental class (the students who were taught by using Animation film) was 54,49 for the pre-test and the post-test 59,22. The average score of control group (the students who were not taught by using
Animation Film) was 58,96 for pre-test and 58,95 for post test. Moreover, based on the t-test with level significant 0.05, it is found t-count is 0,73 with t-table 2,085.
The alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It indicates that the vocabulary mastery of the class X of MA Al-khairaat Parigi did not increase after the researcher gave them the treatment by using Animation Film.
