Abstract

f Islamic education subject (PAI) in public schools focusing
on its implementation and assesment concept. The portfolio
learning model can give authentic learning experiences for all students as the outcoms of the learning process. In portfolio context, all students must collect their best work products during the learning processes of Islamic education subject (PAI) in classroom through three steps: portfolio planning, work collection, and final evaluating of portfolio. The collection of the studen’s works covering the academic progress, achievements, skills, and attitudes is intended to describe the student’s learning progress toward the achievement of goals of the curriculum. The porpuse of the implementation of portfolio model is to improve the teacher’s and student’s activities, and the learning processes of Islamic education subject (PAI).
