Abstract
Social learning theory explains that human beings are unique
social creatures because they have variant pure potencies that can be established through social environment. Therefore, social environment and model of others behavior are fundamental aspects in a social learning process. By function of mental�cognation and influence of social environment in growing these potencies, this theory has some connections with Islamic education values that may be implemented in Islamic learning at both formal and informal education institutions. Both social learning theory and Islamic education state that learners can study knowledge and behavior by observing their environment condition and imitating others behavior that they see from their social lives at school, home, and society.
