Abstract
The results of this study indicate that although English language (EFL) teachers at SMPN 8 Sigi generally provided corrective feedback focused on grammatical errors and overall text comprehension, there was significant variation
in the approach and frequency of feedback. Some teachers provided detailed and specific feedback, while others provided more general comments. Students' responses to the feedback also varied significantly; students found the feedback useful. Thematic analysis highlighted the effectiveness of specific, constructive, and timely feedback in improving students' reading comprehension skills.
